POPI has been awarded 'RTV-NRBC Bank Krishi Padak-2023' for outstanding contribution in Agriculatural Development and Promotion in the Haor and other parts of the country. On behalf of POPI Mr Murshed Alam Sarker, Executive Director, POPI received the award from SM Rezaul Karim, Hon'ble Minister of Fishery and Livestock Ministry and NRBC Chair Mr Parvez Tamal.

Minister of of Local Government and Rural Development Md. Tajul Islam, RTV Chairman Morshed Alam MP, FBCCI President Md. Jashim Uddin and RTV Senior Officials, among others, spoke at the occasion.

RTV introduced the award in 2021 and a total of eight persons and two organisations have received the prize in 10 categories. This year NRBC bank partnered the event.
